A day spent island jumping around the eastern islands of Hvaler is day full of relaxation and great experiences. Here you will find good areas for hiking, walking and biking, secluded sandy beaches, cafes, galleries and much more!
The Hvaler ferry have up to 18 daily departures and with the Island-hopping ticket you can stroll from island to island through Norway’s first marine national park; The Outer Hvaler National Park. The tour starts and ends in Skjærhalden on Kirkøy.
The ticket is valid all day. Remember to check the ferry times!
You may bring your bike for a supplement of NOK 70,- (to be paid on the ferry). The ferry only accepts cash.
It is not possible to purchase food or drinks on the ferries, but there are cafes on Herføl, Makø (Nordre Sandøy) and Nedgården (Søndre Sandøy) during the summer months.
