Gulskogen Manor, a beautiful manor from the late 1700's, is located along the Drammensfjord. The manor is owned by Drammens Museum and is open to the public in the summer.
Join a guided tour of one of Norway's unique manors, Gulskogen Manor built in the end of the 1700s. The main building is preserved and the furniture is intact as it was when the family Arbo gave the property to Drammens Museum in 1959.
The park complex is preserved as it was built in the early 1800s, with hazel grove, ponds and parterres. The park also offers Norway's only preserved maze of lime trees and a linden tree-lined street which runs parallel to river.
In a guided tour of the main building, the audience will learn about the unique manor and Arbo family who lived there 150 years.
Guided tours every Saturday and Sunday from 29 May - 27 June 2010, all days in the period 28 June - 22 August and every Saturday and Sunday from 23 August - 12 September. Every day at 11.00. The tour takes approx. 45 minutes.
